PRE-FINAL VERSION (The Other Side of Life)

cyberpunk

PRE-FINAL VERSION (The Other Side of Life, Book #1, Cyberpunk Elven Trilogy) ($4.99)

BUY: Amazon (USA) | Amazon (UK) | B&N | Smashwords (multiple formats) | Print

DESCRIPTION:

This was released in late 2010, when Jess was finalizing the final draft of the full novel (with all the “prettified, enhanced details”). It was quite a big project for one person to handle, hence the breakdown. Chapter 4 and onward includes author’s notes (in bold, and with a // prefix) alongside original text.

Summary: A thieving duo’s world turns upside down when an Elven rogue uncovers the heinous dealings of a megacorporation.

* Feb 2011: The FINAL Version is available!

"Then humans should all be altering their looks."

// Not really just who can afford it (coz technically, they're passing off as being not so very rich)…maybe that and those who want to "get ahead" in life. That's the case in South Korea + China at the moment, just incorporate and futurize a little bit (maybe) that real-life aspect here.

"They do--those who can afford it. Leti--"

Anya cut her sentence off midway. She wasn't supposed to say anything about that. Leticia was a natural beauty, or so she said, to everyone who asked!

Nin raised an eyebrow. "Yes? What about L…"
